Alan L. Egelkraut

Alan L. Egelkraut, 55, of Hilham, Tennessee, and formerly of Battle Creek, died July 5th, 2016 in Tennessee. Alan was born October 26, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Richard and Sandra (Meek) Egelkraut. He was very proud to serve in the U.S. Army. Alan was engaged to Irene Bright.

His father, Richard, preceded Alan in death in 1992. His mother, Sandra Meek survives. He is also survived by his uncle, Elmer (Alyce) Egelkraut of Battle Creek and several cousins.

A graveside service to celebrate Alan's life will be officiated by Rev. David Egelkraut at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016. According to Alan's wishes, he will be interred next to his father. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
