Amy Michelle Cotter

Amy Michelle Cotter (Baker) aka "Snort", beloved Wife, Mother, Grammy, Sister, and friend, age 39, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born in Battle Creek on August 24, 1983.

Amy was an avid dart player and an active member of the B.U.D.A. Darts Organization. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, camping, and floating the river. She also enjoyed playing cards & Yahtzee with friends, coloring books and gaming. She also loved watching movies & TV, singing karaoke, traveling and rides on the motorcycle. Amy was nicknamed "Snort" (Club / Road Name) because that's exactly what she would do when she laughed!

Amy is survived by her husband, Marc A. Cotter aka "4Leaf". Marc and Amy Cotter were married in Springfield, MI on November 11th, 2020. She is also survived by their children, Vinson (Synthia) Baker, Kenzie Whitfield, Joshua Cotter, Marc Cotter Jr., and Haleigh Cotter; their grandchildren, Karlee, Hunter, Madi, Sheila, Declan, and Graison; her biological mother, Dana Hand; and her sisters, Kathy (Richard) Ezell and Nicole Epstien. Amy was preceded in death by her adopted mother, Judy (Baker) Valim.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at The American Legion Post #298 228 North 20th Street, Springfield. A gathering & light meal will follow the celebration from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family, c/o her husband, Marc A. Cotter.
