Andrea Perez Vazquez, 94, passed away at home Friday, March 23, 2018 under the loving care of her family, and longtime best friend Maria Chapin. Andrea was born November 30, 1923 in Guatemala Central America.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew Carlos Perez whom she loved dearly. She is survived her daughter, Maria Lourdes (Ronald) Carter Sr. of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Tiffany (Dan) Rombaugh, Billy Carter and fiancé Julie Howell and her great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy and happiness, Harper, Tanner and Bexiey.
Andrea was a kind person and had a close relationship with God and that was a big part of who she was. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and camping. She was a longtime member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church and the weekly Rosary.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Andrea's life will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 61 N. 23rd St. in Battle Creek.
