Angie Ziegler passed away at 62 years of age on September 2, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1963 to Al and Mary Spitz in Battle Creek, Michigan. Angie graduated from St. Philip Catholic High School in 1981 and went to Kellogg Community College.
She was the light of her husband, Steve and their daughter, Chelcie's life. Her interests included crocheting, reading books, archaeology, ancient history, spirituality, family, friends, her sweet cats, and gardening.
Angie had a warm heart as she was social. She talked to strangers such as cashiers, store clerks, waiters, and waitresses. She would send kindness to them. She cheered up and gave advice on life and alternative medicine to anyone who would listen.
She was a very thoughtful and compassionate person. She accepted people from all walks of life. At one time, she saw a man in need of food. She went to the store to buy canned goods for him.
She had several part-time jobs including working at an herb and supplement shop called Nature's Bounty. But her vocations were that of a homemaker, mother, and wife.
She was a very strong woman especially in the dying process.
Cremation has taken place. As were her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
Any charitable contributions can be sent to The American Heart Association and The American Cancer Society.
