Anna Jane Fate, age 80, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday afternoon, April 4, 2020. She was born in Coldwater, Michigan on December 25, 1939, the daughter of Gerald and Pearl Brodt. Anna loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening, and her favorite color is purple.
Anna is survived by her son, Randy (Stacy) Fate of Battle Creek; her grandchildren David Tullis of North Dakota and Chelsea Dalek of Battle Creek; a brother, Glenn (Alice) Brodt; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James "Dick" Fate on October 21, 2018; her parents; and her sister, Pauline (Mary) Smoker.
Anna will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
At Anna's request, no services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the Alzheimer's Association, Kalamazoo would be appreciated.
