Anna Louise Favorite

Anna Louise Favorite, age 73, of Battle Creek and formerly of Tucson, Arizona went to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday afternoon, July 20, 2020. She was born in Albion, Michigan on March 27, 1947, the daughter of James T. and Doris N. (Adams) Nelson and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.

Anna is survived by her four daughters, Sylvia Favorite, Sue Gallihugh, Sheila (Daniel) Clark, and Stacy Favorite; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, James T. ("Kitten") Nelson II.; a sister, Linda Wood; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry O. Favorite on May 23, 2013; her parents; and four siblings, Barbara Favorite, Walter "Butch" Nelson, David Nelson, and Ronald Nelson.

Anna actively attended Battle Creek Community Church and the Women's Bible Study. She enjoyed computers & card games, reading, puzzles & Crime TV. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and reminiscing.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. Due to current government restrictions, funeral services to celebrate Anna's life will be Live-Streamed at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020.
