Arthur Stiles "Art" Burbank

Arthur Stiles “Art” Burbank, age 58, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, January 3, 2025. He was born on July 14, 1966, the son of John and Mary (Bronkhorst) Burbank and graduated from Pennfield High School with the Class of 1984. Art has owned and operated A&C Appliance Repair in Battle Creek since 1991. 

Art is survived by his fiancée, Kelly Buchanan; his daughter, Courtney (Tim) Hoffman; his step-children, Sabrina (Bryan) Vinson, Rex (Deanna) Lawson, and Katriana (Jacob) Garcia; 11 grandchildren; his siblings, John Burbank, Sandy (Tim) Burbank, Sharon (Robert) Burbank, and Samantha (Ashley) Burbank; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. 

Art was an avid Detroit Lions and Michigan State Spartans fan. He was a member of the P.N.A. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and also spent time hanging out at the Centurions Clubhouse. Art enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family & friends. He particularly enjoyed his “Tuesday Date Nights” with his friend, Darrell Freds and harassing his grandchildren. 

Art’s family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care, Battle Creek.
