Audree E. Bunce

Audree E. Bunce, 99, of Battle Creek, died Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. Audree was born June 4, 1914 in North Loup, NE to Bert and Stella (Fuller) Williams. One of 11 children, Audree went on to marry Clair Bunce and the couple raised four children of their own. Clair sadly preceded her in death on October 20, 1986.

Audree was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, playing the organ and arts and crafts.

Audree is survived by her four children, Phyllis Barr of Dearborn, David Bunce of Burlington, Charles (Joann) Bunce of Concorde and Gerald (Donna) Bunce of Battle Creek; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace Rice and two brothers, Carol Williams and Udell Williams. Audree was preceded in death by her husband and 7 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services to celebrate Audree's life will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Tim Smothers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 11:00 a.m. Audree will be laid to rest next to her husband at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor, FL.
