Avery Dewayne Graham

Avery D. Graham, age 51, of Battle Creek, MI, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Union City, MI. Avery was born August 31, 1962 in Forrest City, AR to Willie and Gladys (McConico) Graham. Avery enjoyed fishing, music, playing cards, but most of all, spending time with his family.


Avery is survived by his two sons, Troy Clemons and Avery Miller-Graham; a daughter, Patrice Miller; his siblings, Leola Shannie, Johnnie (Janet) Graham, Betty (Julian) McNutt, Edward (Brenda Ayers) Graham, Helen (Dan) Miller and Sonjia Graham and 9 grandchildren. Avery was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Selen Hinton and Lonnie Jackson and two brothers, Willie Graham Jr. and Elvis Graham


The Funeral Service to celebrate Avery's life will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8th at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek with the Rev. Leodis Graham, Agape Ministries, officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 12:00 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the American Diabetes Association.
