Barbara "Barb" Freeman

Barbara "Barb" Freeman, age 93, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, December 19, 2019. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 28, 1926, the loving daughter of Carl Henry and Zoe Adele (Rice) Schoetzow. Barb dedicated many years as a music teacher at the Kambly Living Center.
Barb married Evan Warren "Benny" Freeman at the First Presbyterian Church, Battle Creek on August 20, 1960; he sadly preceded her in death on January 16, 2009.
At Barb's request, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Memorials directed to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan and/or the Kambly Living Center, would be appreciated.
