Barbara L. Rowse

Barbara L. Rowse, 83, of Bellevue, died April 23, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. Barbara was born February 27, 1935 in Charlotte, MI to Charles and Hattie (Briskie) Sealock.

Barbara was a member of the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek. She loved to cook, and always made large portions. Most of all, Barbara loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Julie (Larry) Rutherford, Pam (David) Rowse and Dawn (Dan) King; two sons, Jack Rowse and Timothy (Sheila) Rowse; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and seven siblings, Betty Granfors, Daniel Sealock, Judy Crane, Bob Sealock, Carol (Jim) Richards, Doris (Bob) Lichty and Pam (Eddie) Jones.

Barbara married Jack Rowse in 1955, but he sadly preceded her in death in 2000. Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Gloria and Charles.

Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Barbara's life will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
