Barbara Jean (Strange) Shinevare of Hart, MI

Barbara, age 87, previously of Knoxville, TN and Monroe, Ludington, and Richland, MI, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Evelyn Strange; husband, Arthur F. Shinevare; son, James Shinevare and sisters, Virginia (Ebby) Hans, Nancy Esslinger and Lynn Garner.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Barbara Doyle, Robert and Anita Shinevare, and John (Michael) and Debra Shinevare; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jerry) Hale, Chelsea (Brian) Mangrum, Alana Doyle, Alexis (Bradley) Johnson, Timothy Shinevare and Bradley Shinevare; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Warren Hale and Zachry Johnson and brothers, John Strange and Mac Strange. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Suzanne (Tim) Cashen and Emily Shinevare; brother-in-law, Michael Shinevare and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home& Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89) with Father Max Nightingale, officiating. Barbara's family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time and immediately following the service during a luncheon at the funeral home. Private, family interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
