Becky A. (Miller) Arms, 57, sang "Hail! Hail! to Michigan" at many University of Michigan football games. She loved to tailgate and spent many Saturdays with family and friends. Now we sing "Hail! Hail! to Becky'' who fought a long battle with breast cancer and showed strength and courage that inspired everyone who knew her.
She was born May 3rd, 1960, the daughter of Robert and Mary Jane Miller. She passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1978 and served as the Treasurer of the class reunion committee.
During her life she worked for Stouffers McCamly Plaza Hotel, Zande Home Medical Equipment, Barker Manufacturing, and the last twenty four years as a patient account representative at Grace Health. A special thank you to the staff at Grace Health for the cards, meals, and love you gave to Becky.
Becky loved to travel and camp, both in the states and abroad, with her family, her friends the "Divine 10" and with Mystic, her loyal, protective companion by her side.
The "Divine 10" is a group of women who are faithful, wise, truthful, compassionate, loyal and supportive of one another both spiritually and emotionally. Becky was a caring person with a big heart, but break her heart and forgiveness didn't come easily. Her gentle loving smile reflected her gentle loving heart. One of her favorite quotes: "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some sort of battle".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Arms, her parents Robert and Mary Jane Miller, her grandparents, and infant brother Harry Miller. She is survived by her brother, Thomas (Donna) Miller; sister, Gretchen (Bob) Bursley; and nephews, Bryan Miller (Jackie Elbaum), Scott (Laurie) Miller, Steven Bursley, Eric (Kristine) Bursley and many great nieces and nephews.
