Becky Sue Sherman

Becky Sue Sherman, 66, of Battle Creek passed away Monday, June 23, 2025.

Becky was born in Battle Creek on July 9, 1958, the daughter of John and Carolyn Jane (Reick) Barker. She attended Pennfield High School and worked for Michigan Paperboard. She loved her family and was a good-hearted person.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Stacy Barker; sister, Brenda Barker; brother, Joe Barker; grandchildren, Shyane Barker, Dontay West, Rashaun Flowers; great-grandchildren, Cameron Amos, Joshua Amos, Xaelia Amos, La’riyah West, A’myah West, Ra’moni Flowers; special cousin, Gay Martin; dad, John (Lee) Barker; nephews, John Barker and Tim Barker; nieces, Nicole Gatlin and Mindy Burdick; special friend, Roger Lewis; cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom, Carolyn Barker and maternal grandparents, Fay and John Reick.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Becky’s life will be held at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home on July 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Family will begin receiving friends at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care.
