Betty Jean (Mcleod) Noud

Betty Jean Noud, age 94, of Battle Creek died peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2015. She was born in Clarksville, Michigan on April 9, 1921, the loving daughter of Julius "Henry" and Ouida (Allen) Stickley. Betty enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, going to the Casino and truly loved spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her children, David McLeod and Suzanne "Sue" (Charles) Baggerly, both of Battle Creek; four step-children, three granddaughters, Lisa (Russell) Hawthorne, Lori (Kevin) Leiter, Linda (Greg) Ortiz, and five great-grandchildren, Braden Hawthorne, Lindsey Hawthorne, Erika Carlson, Lance Leiter, and Becca Brownell. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Nelson McLeod and Jack Noud; an infant son, Bruce McLeod, and two sisters, Verle Stickley and Wanda Wolverton.

At Betty's request cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Interment will be at Hicks Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were made by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
