Beverly Jane Siefke

Beverly J. Siefke, 88, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Battle Creek, died November 18, 2019. Jane was born July 12, 1931 in Battle Creek to James and Candace (Jarvis) Shirlaw, Jr. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1949 and then married Marvin Siefke on September 30, 1950. She worked as a budget analyst at the Federal Center for many years before her retirement in 1978.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bill) Lookabaugh of Indianapolis, IN.; a son, Kevin Siefke of Everett, WA.; grandchildren Stacy (Frank) Harmon of Lexington, OK., Jennifer (Andrew) Brewer of Indianapolis, IN., Donald (Sharon) Lookabaugh of Greenwood, MI.; great-grandchildren, Matthew Brewer, Kayla Brewer, Peyton Veley, Autumn Rivard and Miranda Rivard; sisters, Shirley Kling of Otsego and Alice Montague of Battle Creek; and many nieces & nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Louis Siefke and a son, Marvin James Siefke.

Jane was blessed with a God-given singing voice and used her gift singing at weddings and funerals. She enjoyed bowling, reading and doing puzzles.
