Biak Ceu

Biak Ceu, beloved father, brother, and uncle, passed away in Battle Creek, MI, on June 4, 2024. He was born on January 23, 1968, in Lumbang, Myanmar, to Ci Mang & Thur Iang.

In his journey through life, Biak encountered both joy and sorrow. Despite the loss of his beloved spouse in 2011, he leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. He is survived by his four cherished children, Charity, Matthew, John, and Van, who loved him deeply and will forever treasure his memory. His faithful dog, Bella, who was always by his side, will miss him dearly as well. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters (Thawng Cer, Thuah Vum, Hlawn Cia, Lal Lian Uk). Though they have departed this world, their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them. Biak Ceu is survived by his two remaining siblings, Sarah Zolianbawi and Dar Cem, who will continue to honor his memory with love and reverence.

Biak took great pride in working on various hands-on and home improvement projects. He worked for many years at Musashi Auto Parts, where he was known for his hard work and determination, until his health worsened during the Covid-19 Pandemic and he had to stop employment. Unfortunately, the disease took a toll on his health, leading to his passing years later.

Biak will be remembered fondly by his children, surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, friends, and community. His presence touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace with the Lord, whom he faithfully served. 

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.  Funeral services to celebrate Biak’s life will be on Saturday, June 15 at Falam Baptist Church; viewing will be at 10 AM and service at 11 AM.
