Billie Joanne Waltz

Billie Joanne “B. Jo” Waltz, 78, of Kalamazoo, died October 27, 2026. B. Jo was born August 16, 1948 in Battle Creek to William and Dorothy (Reverski) King. She graduated high school and worked as a bookkeeper at local banks, while most recently working at Walgreens. She was a longtime member of Gull Lake United Methodist Church.

B. Jo is survived by her children, Jeanneen Smith and Brandon (Susan) Waltz; grandchildren, Joe Fischer and Jessy Fischer. She was preceded in death by husband, Dennis Waltz in 2005, a sister, Pam Connell, a sons-in-law, Andy Fischer and Steve Smith, her parents, William and Dorothy King and a nephew, Mickey Connell.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel. Funeral services to celebrate B. Jo’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2026 at the Gull Lake United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Day Cemetery.
