Bonnie, age 83, died Sunday morning, October 5, 2014 in Pittsburgh.


Bonnie, the daughter of Burt and Beatrice (McCarthy) Noakes, was born on January 8, 1931 in Battle Creek and was a 1950 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School.


Bonnie was preceded in death by two husbands, Irle H. Abrahamson on January 25, 2007 and Gordon D. Rouch on March 9, 2008. Surviving is her daughter, Linda A. (Jeffery) Waterman of Pittsburgh, PA; her son, Irle H. "Chip" Abrahamson, II of Battle Creek; two step-daughters, Darcy Rouch of Largo, FL and Tracy Rouch of Hendersonville, NC; her three grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha and Kennedy and her sister, Peg Gorham of Battle Creek. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William P. Noakes.


The Graveside Service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held on Monday, October 13th at 11:30 a.m. in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, with Rev. Kelly Hadlich, Pastor of Friends Church of Battle Creek, officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bonnie's honor may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 350 East Michigan Avenue, Suite 20, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. The Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek is in charge of all the arrangements.
