Boyd Junior "Peanut" Miller, 80, of Battle Creek died peacefully at Pennfield Premier Living on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Boyd was born November 25, 1940 in Prestonburg, Kentucky the son of Cleve and Liddie (McGuire) Miller. He lived in Kentucky, Indian and Florida, prior to making Battle Creek, Michigan his home, in his 20's. Boyd was employed as a foreman for Priest Tools, Polymer Technology and had several other industrial jobs.
Boyd was united in marriage to Sally Ann Osborn on July 17, 1970 in Battle Creek. Surviving is Sally, his wife of 50 years; a son, Lloyd "Charlie" (Gayle) Miller of Warsaw, IN; three stepchildren, Dan (Pam) Collins of Perry, MI, Lori (Milford) Kendrick of Albion, Connie Inman of Battle Creek; ten grandchildren including a granddaughter, Melissa (Richard "Gary") Butler that they raised; numerous great-grandchildren, several great great-children, a brother, Joe Miller of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John, Henry and Green Miller, and an infant twin brother who died shortly after birth.
Peanut loved spending time with his family. Even though he was afraid of heights, he would ride the roller coasters with his grandkids. They had a cottage on Thornapple Lake for nearly 30 years and he loved to fish. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Tennessee and Kentucky. He loved to play Bingo, play cards with friends and family and go to the Casino. Peanut will be remembered a happy go lucky individual.
