Brenda L. Sager

Brenda L. Sager, 72, of Kalamazoo, died April 15, 2015. Brenda was born December 10, 1942 in Kalamazoo to Frederick and Eva Simonds Emery. She graduated from Delton High School and went on to work for the Brown Company Paper Mill, until her retirement in 1977. Brenda loved horses and enjoyed playing bingo and gardening. She was especially fond of her dog, Fuzzy.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Karen Maher of Augusta and Brendalee Clark of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Judy Emery and Pat Emery. Brenda was married to Lawrence Sager; he sadly preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Sager; a brother, Ralph Emery; an uncle, Clarence Emery; two aunts, Isabel and Stella Emery; four sisters-in-law, Midge, Opal, Lucille and Marie; a brother-in-law, Tom Elder, and son-in-law, Cole Maher.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Augusta Chapel. Funeral services to celebrate Brenda's life will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Hickory Corner Bible Church, 13720 Kellogg School Rd. Hickory Corners, 49060, officiated by Rev.
