Carla Lynn (White) Connerty

Carla Lynn (White) Connerty, beloved mother, 60, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away at peacefully on May 16, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Battle Creek in 1964 to Alfred White and Maxine Scott. Carla attended Battle Creek Public Schools and obtained her cosmetology license before she graduated, going on to do hair and work at Denso Manufacturing for over 20 years.

Carla was a devoted mother to Carlee Templeton and grandmother to her Punkin, Lachan Reige, her pride and joy. She loved spoiling him every chance she got!

Carla enjoyed shopping, spending time with family, in her younger years she enjoyed roller skating, playing cards and talking smack! Her loud voice and rambunctious laughter could be heard before she stepped in a room.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred White and Maxine Scott, and is survived by her daughter; Carlee Templeton and grandson; Lachan Reige, Brothers Glenn (Brenda) White, Brett (Elizabeth) White, Bernard (Allison) Gupton, sisters; Lena (Andre) White, Katrina Smith, and Carmen Rogers, and a host of nieces, nephews and family who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Services will be held Saturday, June 7, at Community Missionary Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m.
