Carol S. Clothier

Carol S. Clothier, 77, died Monday, August 20, 2018, at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol, the daughter of Alfred and Genevieve (Strohm) Coy, was born in Battle Creek on September 14, 1940. Carol was united in marriage to Karl L. Clothier on December 13, 1958, he sadly preceded her in death on October 19, 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann (Marvin Bless) Clothier; a son, Nolan Clothier both of Battle Creek; four grandchildren, Misty Holladay, Zach (Jessica) Clothier, Nichole (Josh) Shroll, Isaiah Clothier; eight great-grandchildren, Drue Holladay, Ronnie Rajotte, Kalvin Rajotte, Lillian Clothier, Audrey Clothier, Gavin Clothier, Joshua Shroll Jr., Makenzie Shroll.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Vickey Clothier; son, Karl E; her parents and many brothers and sisters.
Carol was a dedicated mother who loved spending time with the family, watching her grandchildren play sports, listening to country gospel music, raising Boston Terriers, fishing, playing Bingo, Bunco, and doing arts & crafts.

The family will greet friends on Friday, August 24th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Pleasantview Family Church, 2601 Lacy Rd., Dowling MI, 49050, where a funeral service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018, with Pastor Steve S. Olmstead, officiating. Interment will follow at Assyria Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Carol's honor may be given to the family.
