Carole Lee (Tharp) Robbins went to her lord and savior on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. She passed peacefully in her sleep.
Carole was born February 19, 1942 to Carl L. and Elizabeth J. (Greenman) Tharp. Carole was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. She attended Battle Creek Schools. She worked at Andy’s Drive-in, Hosh’s Grill and Bookkeeping. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, ceramics, genealogy and going to church.
She was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church. Carole married her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard J. Robbins, on February 14, 1959. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth; father, Carl; sister, Sandie; brother, Randolph; son, Thomas and a grandson, Eric Robbins Jr. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Jeff) King of Tennessee, Richard (Katrina) Robbins II of Comstock, Jacquie (Rod) Crane of Bellevue, Tim (Kim) Robbins of Battle Creek, Eric (Tammy) Robbins of Battle Creek; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and a lifelong friend, Bev Ellis.
A celebration of life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on July 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. with a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at the church. Personal messages for Carole’s family may be shared at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
