Ceu Tin Thang

Ceu Tin Thang, 63 of Battle Creek, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 27, 2023.

He was born April 21, 1959 in Lungpi (Falam Township), Chin State, Myanmar (Burma) to Hlei Bik and Ngui Tawl. He attended school at Latha, Yangon in Myanmar. When he was younger, Ceu worked on a cargo ship. He was also employed by TRMI when he moved to Battle Creek. He attended of the First Baptist Church.

Ceu is survived by his siblings, Bawn Te, Nawl Ling, Samuel Nithang, Robert Sum Hlei, Duh Cer and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Par Cer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Personal messages for Ceu’s family may be shared at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
