Chad Allen

Chad L. Allen, 43, of Battle Creek died on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015.

Chad was born December 4, 1971 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to John and Victoria (Busiman) Allen. He had been employed as a contractor in the construction industry.

Chad was united in marriage to the former Dana L. Sims on February 2, 1991 in Battle Creek. Surviving are his wife, Dana; children, Brandon Sims, Ashleigh Mack, Jonothon Allen, Chad Allen, Jr., Claudia Allen; three granddaughters, Olivia Allen, Aubrey Allen, Lannie Mack; two grandsons, Leighlen Mack, Isaac Sims; his parents, John and Victoria Allen; a brother, Johnny Allen and his dog, Carly. Chad was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zyaira Mack; and a brother, Ryan Allen.

Chad always placed his family first. He was a tennis and chess champion; enjoyed motorcycles, quads, and dirt bikes, playing video games, and fishing. He was a big collector of swords, knives, movies, and antiques. In his healthier days, he enjoyed playing basketball, football, hockey & ping pong.

Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at Oak Hill Cemetery 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015. Arrangements are by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Memorial contributions may be made to his family. www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
