Charlene Sue (Aiken) Bortolussi

Charlene Sue Bortolussi, age 82 of Augusta, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 14, 1943 the daughter of the late Milton and Marine (Moitzfield) Aiken. Family meant everything to Charlene and prided herself on being a caregiver for all of them. She was an incredible cook and loved camping, and riding on the back of the motorcycle with Nobile as they traveled the country together.

Charlene married Nobile Bortolussi in Urbandale, Michigan on December 6, 1962. He survives. She is also survived by her son, Randy (Charity); her grandchildren, Coner, Amanda, Steven (Nicole), Michael (Lauren), and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Alyssa, Natalie, and her sister, Sharon. Charlene was tragically preceded in death by her daughter & granddaughter, Lisa and Melisa on September 17, 1993.

At Charlene’s request, cremation has taken place and no public services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
