Charles Lavern "Chuckie" Crandell of Augusta, MI

Chuckie, age 64, died Sunday morning, March 17, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Church, Kalamazoo, MI.

Chuckie, the son of Walter James and Eleanor June (Utter) Crandell, was born in Stanwood, MI on July 11, 1954 and moved to this area in 1966. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida and watching TV.,

Chuckie is survived by his sister, Beverly K. (William) Oleneack of Augusta and two brothers, Edward F. Crandell and Timothy W. Crandell, both of Middleville, MI. Chuckie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David C. on September 2, 2011 and Ronald J. on October 11, 2017 and a sister-in-law, Christine E. Crandell on June 8, 2012.

Chuckie's family will greet friends today, Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89). The Funeral Service to celebrate Chuckie's life will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Crank of Battle Creek, officiating. The Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Higbee Cemetery, Deerfield Township of Mecosta County, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his sister, Bev, to defray final costs.
