Charles W. Watt, 75, of Battle Creek, died August 10, 2019. Charles was born June 19, 1944 in California to Wayne and Dorothy (Newson) Watt. He graduated from high school and went on to work in the Local #333 as a pipefitter for more than 45 years.
Charles was a black belt in karate in his younger years. He loved to tinker and work on things in the garage and was a big Harley Davidson Motorcycle fan. He was an artist and musician and played in local bands in the area. Above everything, Charles loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his three daughters, Tammy Watt, Becky Watt and Tonya Bridges; grandchildren, John Setler, Heavan Papendick, Donoven Setler, NaTasha West, Brandon Bridges, Raymond Pennock and Brandy Thurman; great-grandchildren, Naya Setler, Ashton Pennock, Zoey West and Hunter West and two brothers, Ronald and Donald Watt. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Dorothy.
Funeral services to celebrate Charles' life will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Interment will follow at Reese Cemetery.
