Christina Beauchamp, a woman of deep faith and boundless love, went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 6, 2026.
Born with a spirit that nurtured everything she touched, Christina found her greatest peace in her yard. She spent countless hours tending to her immaculate flowers, finding a unique beauty in the quiet growth and the changing seasons. Her gardens were a true reflection of her soul—vibrant, meticulous, and full of life.
However, Christina’s greatest earthly joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Dale, and an adoring mother. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother; she "absorbed" every moment with her grandchildren, cherishing their laughter and the unique light each of them brought into her life.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Emma Marie Balkema, and her siblings, Dick, Donna, Trudy, and Jane.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Beauchamp; her children, Katherine (Jeff) Wheeler, Andrea (Michael) Werkema, Matthew (Kerrie) Beauchamp, Nicole Beauchamp, Nathan (Lindsey) Beauchamp, and David (Lindsay) Beauchamp; and her beloved grandchildren, Emery, Eloise, Carter, Cole, Leila, and Roman. She is also survived by her former husband and father of her children, Dave Pease. Her legacy of love, faith, and grace will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.
"She is now tending the Master's garden, where the flowers never fade, and every season is a season of grace. Though she has left our earthly garden, her beauty remains forever in the seeds of love she planted in our hearts."
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Augusta, with a luncheon to follow. A private interment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting something beautiful in your own garden in her memory, or making a memorial donation to the Michigan Blood Cancer Society. Personal messages for the family may be placed at farleyestesdowdle.com.
