Christopher L. "Chris" Gaw

Christopher L. "Chris" Gaw, age 46, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was born in Battle Creek on March 20, 1969, the son of William L. "Bill" and Barbara A. "Barb" (Hadden) Gaw.

Chris married the "Love of His Life", Christine A. Trzemzalski in Battle Creek on February 20, 2002; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Deana Tippett, Melinda Gomez, Tanya (Rogelio) Garcia, and Nicholas "Nick" (Erika Hurtado-Gaw) Gaw; 13 grandchildren and 1 on the way; his brothers & sisters, Victor (Lisa) Gaw, Cindy Asher, Roxanne (Ronald) Bissett, and several nieces & nephews. Chris was sadly preceded in death by his parents.

A true family man, Chris loved fishing, disc golf, horseshoes, darts, bowling, concerts and spending time with his family and good friends, but especially his grandchildren. Chris was a member of the B.U.D.A. Dart League.

The family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where services to celebrate Chris's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
