Christopher Paul Carus

Christopher Paul Carus, 53, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away of lung complications on December 9, 2023, at his apartment in Battle Creek.

He was born in Battle Creek on December 24, 1969 to Yvonne M. Carus. Chris attended Battle Creek Central High School before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Chris loved all things related to electronics, playing video games, being outdoors, walking, fishing, cats, and spending time with friends and family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Carus; sibling, Betty Palonen; grandchildren, Izayah Botimer-Williams and Javen West; nieces, Tina (Branden) Cavinder and Audra Palonen; and great nephews, Tyler Roedersheimer and Oliver Krill. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Carus; and sister, Sheila Madry.
