Clifford William Ashbaugh, 76, of Vicksburg passed away December 5, 2025.

Clifford was born August 18, 1949 in Kalamazoo to Donald and Dorothy (Sweitzer) Ashbaugh. After graduating from Portage Northern High School, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, where he learned about radio communications and electronics. He went on to work as a cameraman for WKZO, later Channel 3 News, and eventually became their director of programming. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching tv, reading and working on models. He loved making his own model planes and even went to air shows to make sure that his models were painted accurately.

Clifford is survived by his nieces, Rhonda Grams and Jody Johnson and nephews, Tim Butler and James Butler. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Davis and Susan Garms; brother, David Ashbaugh and his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Clifford will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026. Personal messages for his family may be shared at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
