Clifford "Buddy" Goodman

Clifford “Buddy” Goodman, age 81, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2026.

Buddy was born April 25th, 1944 in Kentucky the son of Andy and Anna Goodman.

Buddy married Sandra [DePuy] Goodman on October 17th, 1970. Sandra passed on September 13th, 2012. Buddy and Sandra are survived by their 6 children: Alan Michael, Erik (Velvet) Michael, Wendy (Rick) Beatty, Amber (Todd) Miller, Scott Goodman, and Billie (Troy) Conine. He was preceded in death by his parents (Andy and Anna Goodman), and his 7 sisters (Tuggar, Betty Jean, Billie, Mary Helen, Annette, Faye, and Sarah).

Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoyed working with his hands, and was always willing to help those in need. His musical talent was playing the spoons, mainly at family functions. Most people would describe Buddy as a social butterfly, always willing to strike up a conversation.

Remaining to cherish Buddy’s memory are his 6 children along with his Grandchildren Jacque, Salina, Brandon, Brittany, Zachary, Chelsea, and Olivia and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Buddy had a way of bringing a light to the darkest of places and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

At Buddy's request, cremation has taken place.  There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
