Con Lal

Con Lal, age 54, of Springfield passed from this life on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born on November 30, 1963 in Lumbang, Chin State, Myanmar, the son of the late Bawi Thluai and Hlei Sung. He moved to Battle Creek in 2002 and had been a member of Emmanuel Christian Church and truly loved the Lord, his church and served where needed. He worked at Systex Products Corporation in Battle Creek.

He has five brothers, four sisters and 33 nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Hlei Sung, his four brothers, Zung Peng, Saw Za Thang, Elizer Uk and Steven Bawiaung and four sisters, Sui Tial, Khin Kyi, Esther Bur and Sui Thian.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 8th at the Falam Baptist Church (the old Lakeview Baptist Church) 7 South 20th Street, Battle Creek, MI 49015. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
