Daelnn William Roark

Daelnn Roark, age 18 of Battle Creek tragically passed away Monday morning, July 14, 2025.  He was born in Battle Creek on June 19, 2007 and was a Senior at Calhoun Community High School. Daelnn was a charming, kind hearted, loving, humorous, and genuinely sweet individual with a vibrant spirit, very talkative, witty, and creative, he was full of life compassion and courage.  He enjoyed playing games, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, cracking jokes, eating and dancing. He was truly adored by anyone that he came across.

Although Daelnn did not have any children of his own, he cherished every moment spent with the ones around him. His infectious smile and radiant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Daelnn is survived by his parents, Jessica (Marcell) Roark and Terry Dixon; his grandmothers, Linda (Dale) Roark and Penny Dixon; his brothers & sisters, Maverick Terry, Mahogany Terry, Sean Dixon, Terri Dixon, Lexi Dixon, Bre Dixon, Karmen Dixon, Tessa Dixon, Thomas Dixon, and Camren Dixon; his uncles, Jason (Beth) Scroggins, Thomas (Crystal) Dixon, Kevin (Brittany) Dixon, and Keith (Missy) Dixon; and several cousins. He was sadly preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jay Roark and Keith Dixon.

The family will receive friends 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care, Battle Creek.
