Dale Allen Newhouse of Richland, MI

Dale, age 63, died Sunday morning, February 3, 2019 at Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo, MI following a lengthy illness.

Dale, the son of John and Elaine (Doxey) Newhouse, was born in Kalamazoo on June 10, 1955; was a lifetime area resident and a 1973 graduate of Gull Lake High School. He retired in 2014 after 35 years of faithful service with Upjohn Company-Pfizer Inc. as a Chemical Operator. Dale's passion in life was antique tractors especially Case and International Harvester. He loved to tinker with his hands having been known to "Hit or Miss" on many motors.

Dale is survived by his brother; Wesley J. "Wes" Newhouse of Richland; his sister-in-law, Chong Newhouse of Richland; three nieces, Judy (Jonathan) Pak, Lori (Mark) Johnson and Traci (Tony) Chipman and by three nephews, Donald Newhouse, Brian Newhouse and Karl Newhouse. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry P. Newhouse and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Newhouse.

The Funeral Service to celebrate Dale's life will be held on Tuesday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89) with Rev. David O. Beetham, Pastor of the Kalamazoo Covenant Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland. Dale's family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's honor may be directed to the Kairos Dwelling, 2945 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
