Dale has been a life-long member of the Christian Reformed and Reformed Church, where he served as deacon and elder.
Dale would say his biggest accomplishment was building his hunting cabin in Doster, using the logs from pine tree saplings that he and his father had planted many years before. He enjoyed deer hunting, golf, gardening, feeding wild birds, and spending time with family.
There will be a memorial service with Pastor Craig Gilbert officiating at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14th with a visitation and light refreshments following the service. Contributions in Dale's honor can be made to Haven Reformed Church or Operation SMILE.
