Daniel Ray Adams

He was born August 19, 1956 in Battle Creek, the son of Robert “Bob” and Ruth (Johnson) Adams.  On October 11, 1975, he was united in marriage to Kathy Sue Paulson.  Daniel enjoyed cars and tinkering in the garage.  He went to car shows with his 1970 Red AMX.  He worked for Ridge Napa in Kalamazoo until his illness.  Dan and his family have been involved with the Battle Creek Field of Flight since 1983.  He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Danielle (Jaime) Perez and Katie Adams; grandchildren, Jaime and Hazel; and mother, Yvonne Vandendriessche.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ruth Adams and in-laws, Arthur and Shirley Paulson.

Daniel’s family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Charitable Union.
