Daniel Hiram Burbank

February 3, 1964 — May 4, 2020

Daniel "Danny" Burbank, 56, a lifelong resident of Battle Creek, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.

Daniel (or known to some as DAN THE MAN) was born February 3, 1964 in Battle Creek, MI, the son of the late Robert Sr. and Mary (Rench) Burbank. Dan attended Pennfield Schools where he obtained his basic education. For many years Daniel was employed for Casey's Excavation Company doing pretty much everything there was for him to do, as long as he was busy.

Daniel married Robin Barley in 1983 which ended in divorce. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; twin daughters, Jenna Ann (Zachary) Piper of Climax and Jennifer Joy Burbank of Battle Creek; a grandson, Levi Lawson, and two granddaughters, Shaniel Burbank and Audrey Burbank; Two sisters, Brenda Kay (Randy) Titus of Vandalia, MI, and Lavona (Matthew) Bernhiesel of Battle Creek, one brother, Robert J. (Wanda) Burbank, Jr. of Battle Creek, special cousin "brother" Martin Burbank of Pensacola, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Burbank; a brother, Kenneth Burbank and a sister, Mary Titus.

Dan enjoyed fishing and hunting. His favorite pastime was spending time with his daughters and grandkids. In his early years, he enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with just about anything and everything he could get his hands on. He was an avid outdoorsman and was always fun to be around. Dan will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, etc. Even though God takes people away from us, they will always remain in our hearts.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a service will be held at a later date when it is safe for Dan's family and friends to be together and celebrate Dan's life.

Arrangements are by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
