Dan was born November 3, 1968 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Dana Andrew and Christine Kay (Kipp) Varga. He was a graduate of Harper Creek High School. He was formerly employed at Koyo, where he took a medical retirement. He recently enjoyed doing small engine repair for a local hardware store.
Surviving are his son, Tyler James Varga (23); daughter, Areell M. Varga (19); brother, Jamie Varga; sister, Angela Henderson; mother, Christine Kipp; father, Dana Varga; paternal grandmother, Betty Strong; paternal grandfather, Frank Varga; aunts, Beth Enskat and Connie Strong; uncles, Steve, Andy and Mark Kipp; and all manner of magnificent, lovely, riff-raffian friends and extended family. Dane was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Kipp; maternal grandmother, Lee Weimer; step-grandfather, Ridgeway Strong; aunt, Jacqueline Kipp, uncle, Terry Kipp and his cousin, Ryan Kipp.
Dan liked small engine repair, loved, "Big Whopper Fishing", enjoyed auto racing, the casino, motocross and dirt biking; but most of all he loved being with his kids and friends. He also enjoyed his dog pals, Pedro and Sparky and assorted snakes and lizards.

Have a meal with us and share a story or two on Friday July 26th, 2019 from 6-8 pm at the Robin's Nest at 16181 10 Mile Road (across from Floral Lawn Cemetery, one block from East Michigan Avenue).
