Darlene Kay Anthony

Darlene Kay Anthony, 73, passed away June 5, 2025.

Darlene was born October 26, 1951 in Battle Creek to Chester and Dorothy (DeHollander) Ford. She was a graduate of Gull Lake High School and later worked there as a custodian. She also worked at K-Mart for over 20 years. On April 23, 2004, she was united in marriage to Larry G. Anthony. Darlene enjoyed reading, garage sale shopping and antiquing. She loved the Detroit Tigers and hated the game, Uno.

Darlene is survived by her children, Tammy (Tim) George, William (Denise) McConnell and Scott (Kelly) McConnell; grandchildren, Zachary (Courtney) McConnell, James (Brianna Henley) George, Brooklyn George, Amy (Kyle) Stafford, Catlin McConnell, Cameron (Brendan) McClure and Ainsley McConnell; sister, Vicki (Habib) Atallah; several nieces and nephews and her mom, Dorothy Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Anthony and a daughter, Amy Sue McConnell.
