David H. Hurley, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Oaks Retirement Community in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born December 25, 1930 in Battle Creek Michigan, to Hugh M. Hurley and Arlene L. Hurley. His grandparents were Louis and Maude Hurley and Roy and Golda Knepp. He was a 1949 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He married Barbara Ann Rice on January 28, 1957.
David worked as Regional Personnel Manager for 30 years, displaying a wonderful knack for helping people. David truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures of participating and watching sports. He gave back to the community by volunteering with the United Way, Indian Guides, Lions Club and the Goodwill Organizations. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Hurley; Daughters Cynthia A. Green, Pamela J. Fox, and Deborah L. Baney; sons Steven R. Rice, Mark D. Hurley and Matthew H. Hurley.
