Deanise Lyn Loyd

Deanise Lyn Loyd, age 39, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 14, 2017. She was born in Battle Creek on July 22, 1977 at attended St. Philip Elementary School before transferring to Lakeview Schools where she graduated with the Class of 1996. Deanise attended Wright Beauty Academy and previously worked at Pablo's in McCamly Place, Applebee's, and Sally's Beauty Supply.

Deanise married Ron Kleckner on May 11, 2007, and they subsequently divorced. She is survived by her parents, Hal Loyd of Melbourne, FL and Linley (Wayne) Bordine-Houseman of Battle Creek; her sister, Kelly Jo (Adam) Bunce of Ashland City, TN and their children, Walker & Riley Bunce; her step-brothers, Joshua (Richelle) Houseman of Galesburg, MI and their children, Jacksen & Julian Houseman, and Shaun (Jayna) Houseman of Battle Creek and their children, Alayna and Cooper; her aunts, Shane Albert of Battle Creek, Cathy (Larry) Sanderson of Springfield, IL, and Linda Loyd of Springfield, IL; her uncle, Cam Hamilton of Battle Creek; her cousins, Jennifer Sanderson of Springfield, IL, Nancy Sanderson of Las Vegas, NV, Larry Sanderson, Jr. of Springfield, IL, Rita Loyd of Los Angeles, CA, and a large extended family which she loved. Deanise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Laura & Don Ratkie, Irl & Elizabeth Angell, Garen Campbell, and Jack Bordine; 2 uncles, Mike Loyd, Joseph Albert, and a cousin, Wende Lusk.

Deanise was a member of St. Philip Parish and enjoyed attending Midnight Mass. She loved dirt bikes, camping, she was excellent at fishing, adored and rescued animals, loved the "Great Outdoors", and was always up for any new adventure. The loves of her life were her niece & nephew, Riley & Walker Bunce. Her beloved dog, Caesar was always by her side.

The family will receive friends 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where funeral services to celebrate Deanise's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family also gathered to celebrate her life at Miller's Time Out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
