Denise May (Galvin) Doud

Denise May (Galvin) Doud, 65 of Battle Creek died at Bronson Battle Creek on Monday, April 10, 2017.

She was born September 21, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Herbert and Bonnie (Baldwin) Galvin. Denise grew up in Battle Creek and Bellevue. She was a 1969 graduate of Bellevue High School. Denise was employed as the Bar Manager for the Polish National Alliance in Battle Creek for 14 years, prior to her retirement, due to health issues.

Surviving are her son, Troy Dolph of Battle Creek; her mother, Bonnie Dowell of Battle Creek; two brothers, David (Terry) Doud of Bellevue, Del (Kathy) Doud of Battle Creek and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Galvin; and her brother, Douglas Doud.

Denise enjoyed bowling and playing pool. She will be remembered as a positive, upbeat person always trying to encourage others.

A Celebration of Life Service to celebrate Denise's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 19757 Capital Avenue N.E., Battle Creek, MI 49017. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
