Diana Joy Perry, 67, of Ceresco, died November 2, 2016 at her home after a lengthy illness. Diana was born March 3, 1949 in Battle Creek to Robert and Donelda (Winans) Petts. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and went on to work as a credit manager at G.H.S. Corporation for 34 years, before her retirement in 2012.
Diana enjoyed doing crafts and had various collections of different things. But most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren. Diana liked to watch Detroit Tigers Baseball. She always tried to make others feel good about themselves. If you knew her well, you loved her.
Diana married Charles "Charlie" Perry and they were married for 48 years. He survives. Also surviving are their two daughters, Vikki (Tim) Thurman and Cris (Andy) Pifer; four grandchildren; a sister, Sherral Saxman and two brothers, Brian Petts and Dale Petts. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services to celebrate Diana's life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, officiated by Rev. Robert G. Muirhead. Interment will follow at Newton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
