Diane Lynn (Arnold) Kievit of Kalamazoo, MI

Diane, age 64, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 5, 2017 at her residence.

Diane, the daughter of Wayne H. and Dorothy I. (Stell) Arnold, was born in Kalamazoo on November 29, 1953; was a 1971 graduate of Gull Lake (Richland) High School and earned her Master's Degree in Education from Central Michigan University of Mt. Pleasant, MI. She retired from the Human Resource Department of the Georgia-Pacific Company.

Diane was united in marriage to Timothy Louis "Tim" Kievit in Richland, MI on May 24, 1980 and he sadly preceded her in death on May 29, 2015. Surviving are her two sons, Theodore W. "Ted" Kievit of Kalamazoo and Benjamin L. "Ben" Kievit of Battle Creek, MI and her brother, Jack D. (Noreen) Arnold of Kalamazoo. Diane was also preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Diane's life will be held at a later date. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) is assisting Diane's family.
