Diane Marie (Tallent) Ross

Diane Ross (Tallent), 59, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 in Kalamazoo, MI.  She was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI.

She was employed at Bellevue Community Schools in Food Service for 22 years. She played local and travel softball for 25 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, travelling, arts and crafts, gardening and feeding the neighborhood cats that would come up to her home.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ray Ross; children, Danielle Tallent, Clint (Sarah) Ross and Charlene Ross; three grandchildren, Desarae, Mariah and Marshall Smith; brothers, Jimmy and John (Amy) Tallent; sister-in-law, Carol Tallent; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Rosie Shorter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Gloria Tallent; grandparents, Henry and Juanita Tallent; and brother, Ken Tallent.

A service to celebrate Diane’s life was held for her family at Memorial Park Cemetery.
