Dolly D. McIntosh, 88, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Care Community. She was born September 8, 1926 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Harold W. and Mary A. (Horsford) Morrow. She was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School in 1944 and attended Olivet College. On March 24, 1947, Dolly D. Morrow was united in marriage to Richard F. McIntosh. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Dolly had many accomplishments in her work career; as a realtor, co-owner of Studio 33 LTD, but she was primarily an executive secretary at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center until her retirement in 1991. Dolly also worked part-time at Fannie May Candy after her retirement.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, Tamara A. Matheson of Battle Creek; a son, Richard "Rick" (Robin Pompey) McIntosh of Richland. Dolly was also a grandmother and a great-grandmother.
Dolly was a member and past-president of NARFE. She loved dancing and was a ballroom instructor.
A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, March, 20, 2015 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. She will be privately laid to rest next to her husband at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later time. Friends may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
