Donn Kent

Donn E. Kent, 62, of Kalamazoo, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence. Donn was born September 17, 1950 to Earl and Rose (Karker) Kent in Battle Creek. Donn graduated from Galesburg/Augusta High School and went to honorably serve in the U.S. Navy. He later worked as a home health care aid for many years. He was very active in the Countryside Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kalamazoo.

Donn is survived by his daughter, Jeneen (Michael) Killingsworth; two precious grandchildren, Joshua and Lindsey Killingsworth; a sister, Cindy Baker and two brothers, Jim and Raymond Kent. Donn was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillette in 2011 and his parents.

A graveside service to celebrate Donn's life will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Terry Nelson.
